... and it's over!

WOW! Can you believe the weekend is over already? I feel like it was just getting started. But here we are, Monday! This weekend was good and bad for me. Sick kids, sick husband and then Sunday night I end up sick. Not only colds and all of that, but stomach flu as well. OMG!!! Bleach and cleaning was part of my weekend. Only one child stayed home from school today, so that was good.

On a better note, Saturday was such a beautiful day. 3 of the boys and I went and walked up Mt. Rubidoux. It was such a beautiful walk. It had rained all Friday night and so it was so fresh out. Its a one mile steep walk up, but it was so worth it. Even the complaining kids and sore legs for 3 days ;-) Then the rainbow and sunset later that evening were beautiful. I am always in awe of the beauty of God in times like these. So then onto Sunday. Some woke up sounding like frogs, some just weren't feeling well. But we medicated everyone and went onto church. Always a great day when you go to church. Sunday afternoon was spent at Kaiser and making meatloaf for our pastor and visiting preacher. Sam stayed home with one son for Sunday night church because he started throwing up and I wasn't in the mood to deal with that haha! So in one way I was glad to see the weekend go, but in another I wasn't ready. But no matter it's time to jump in and do what has to be done
