Spring Cleaning!!!

So, I think I'm a little late, but it's still spring. Although in Cali, it's been a mix of being in the 90's and then back to the high 60's and 70's. It's been insane. We had rain just 2 days ago and it's May. Anyhow, no matter the weather, I have had this itch to clean. Not just pick it up and put it away, but deep cleaning.

So, I started in my room. Got rid of clutter, threw junk away and even redecorated a few things. It's so sparkly and clean! {This is where I need a set of emoji's}. Then in the living room I moved the couch. Found a bunch of Nerf darts, pencils and toys. Too bad I didn't find a wad of money, haha! I had my boys clean baseboards, scrub walls and clean their rooms the way I would. I had them help me scrub the kitchen, dining room and entry way tile. It is white tile and there is a lot of it. My arms are so sore, it hurts to type this LOL!

I scrubbed the boys bathroom. There is linoleum in that bathroom. For some reason regular mopping helps, but over time it gets this weird stained look. So I scrubbed it. It's not that big of an area, but it took me and hour. UGH! I was so happy to be done. Now all that's left is dusting my dining room and my oldest sons room. I expect it to stay this way a week! HA! Who am I kidding, I would be happy to have it clean for 24 hours.

How about you? Do you spring clean? If so, when? Is there a specific time, or do you just clean when you get that feeling? I feel like it needs it a lot, but I hate the time it takes to do it. Some day when I have the money I will pay someone to do it. Then I would probably have it done every 3 to 6 months. I have a hard enough time with the everyday stuff and laundry. My laundry is insane. We have so much. I really hate laundry. But I like clean clothes, so I guess it's a trade off!
