Fall is Coming...

I think I am a person who over uses the phrase "I can't believe how time flies." I literally use this all the time. But it is so overwhelming and sad some times how fast it really does go by. I feel like we just started 2017. But here we are towards the end of August. My kids are starting school in 4 days and I don't know how to feel about that. Fall is right around the corner, which is super exciting. It means everything pumpkin and the fat girl that I am LOVES it!

School starting... Now there's something I am not sure exactly how I feel about. Part of me is ready for the schedule and all of the things that are nice about that. But the lazy part of me does not want to deal with the home school and projects. I HATE projects. Are any of these teachers parents? Do they know that most of this falls on us? Or is it because they're teachers they think they are cool and awesome and things like that? I don't know, but I hate them. Projects and me are not friends. On the other hand, starting a new school year is almost like starting a new year for me. I get all excited and have all these great plans and ideas. Then within a few weeks I no longer feel excited and it just turns into another day. Although last school year was one of the best that we've had.

So the season of Autumn/Fall is just around the corner. It is actually less than a month away. First day of Fall is 09/22. I always want to start pulling all of my pumpkin stuff out in the middle of August. I love pumpkins and the warm fuzzy feelings it brings. Or maybe it's because I am wishing for cooler weather. I don't know which is more the case. But I know right now is too early. So I usually wait until the second week of school or so. This year it looks like that is going to be when it's really hot. It's actually been nice weather here in So Cal. But starting Monday it's supposed to get back up into triple digits!

Here's hoping everyone had a great summer. That everything you wanted to accomplish this year has gone through. And here's hoping that the last part of this year is amazing!
