April Fools

How cool and crazy was it that Easter fell on April Fools this year? My kids had all kinds of crazy jokes and I thought about tricking them with empty eggs, but decided there would be too much attitude and crying. But I did pull a trick on my second oldest son. So that was fun.

On another note, I cannot believe it is April. I know I keep saying that, but seriously I feel like we just had New Years. My kids were singing Christmas songs the other day and I just am not ready for that. But before we know it, school will be out, summer will be here. Then 4th of July and on we go. Time marches on, stopping for no one.

Try to take a breath. Enjoy the moments of life. I need to take this advice for myself. Take time to smell the roses. Stop and take time for the people you love. It goes by way to fast.
