Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall
Seasons are everywhere. Whether we live somewhere that has them all and feels them all, or somewhere that seems to have just hot and cold, there are still seasons. Living in Southern California we have hot and then hotter. It gets cool, but usually not for long. We don't get a lot of rain. We are constantly in a "drought" and being told to conserve water. Yet we still see changes in our plants and other things. Our grass goes dormant in what should be winter. Leaves fall off of our trees. Spring comes and we get flowers blooming and summer has it's own heat and nature to deal with.
Life is the same way. Our lives goes through seasons. Seasons of blessing, taking away, when things go good, when everything seems to go bad. But we need to remember everyone of these is just a season. It will not last forever. If in the bad times we keep our heads up and work towards a better future, it will happen. And in the good times realize that it also will not last forever. To savor and cherish every moment that is given to us.
So as life passes by, day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year, be thankful. For each and every moment that comes and goes. Rejoice in the good and grieve in the bad. But in all be grateful and thankful.
