Way Too Long...

I am pretty sure this is the longest I have ever been without writing on here. When I have been for a couple days or even a week without writing I feel horrible. Right now I feel one of the lowest of the low. I don't know where time has gone. It's literally flown by. So, I am going to update you on what has been happening the last 2 months.

May was a month that flew by without me even realizing it. Just one thing after the next. Trying to keep the boys up on homework and Bible Quizzing. I was so ready for school to be over. So into June we went. Finally on the 12th my kids finished up school and my oldest promoted from 8th grade to high school. I do not feel old enough for that. It feels like just last week he was going to kinder. But, I am not officially the mother of a high school student.

The boys got out of school on a Tuesday and the next Monday I went as a girls cabin counselor to a junior camp with our church. 3 of boys went as well and my oldest and husband stayed at home. That was a crazy week. 5 days with giggling, boy talking girls. So out of my range. I am fine with my boys. Those girls were drama. After we got home I had laundry and housework coming out of my ears. I have been going crazy ever since. I've just been trying to catch up with everything. There was so much laundry.

Now we are getting ready to leave for Bible Quizzing nationals. We leave one week from today. I am not even mentally prepared. 10 days of craziness. That's right. We will be gone for 10 days. 2 days to drive there, 6 days there and 2 days drive home. My boys are so looking forward to it though. They are so excited that they have made it this far. This has been the goal all along. They have put in so much time and effort in. They deserve this.

After we get home I hope we can just veg out. I don't want to have to do a whole lot. I just want to take the rest of the summer easy. We will have about 5 weeks to just chill when we get home. No big plans, I hope!
