Reasons and Excuses
There are many excuses and reasons in this world. It's up to you which you choose. If you don't really want to do something you will make excuses, but if you want to do something you will have a reason. This weeks quote has to do with reasons and focus. I really really have to keep these things in mind. In my life it may be easier to have my husband go back to a full-time job. The struggle in a new business is real.
I could come up with all kinds of excuses or my "reasons" for taking this action. But then I go back to why we quit. Why we walked away from it. Sometimes being self-employed is harder than being employed, but it's not worth it in the long run. SO i have to go back to all the reasons that we quit and decided to walk away. Our kids being a huge part of that.
Even when my husband took a part-time job working at Lowe's it was so hard. Getting yelled at by people for literally no reason. If they were upset about something not even involving my husband, they would take it out on him. Being in business for yourself you choose to work for these people or walk away. My husband has been able to reach out to people, talk to them, help them and help secure their homes. He is doing a service, but doing it with a smile. My husband loves to talk to people and help them if he can. His job now allows him to do this!
So when something comes up in your life, think about your answer. Think if it's an excuse or a good reason. I can come up with both in my life right now and want to choose the right one!
